CNC machining and precision machining

CNC machining and precision machining
XAT provides a full range of machining services, including turning, milling, grinding, drilling and inspection. Machining is carried out by computer numerical control (CNC). Professional computers are programmed to guide machining tools and shape parts accordingly.

Turning
In turning, the parts are fixed on the fixture, and a smooth surface is created on the vertical or horizontal parts by using cemented carbide tools. Turn the spare parts inside and outside the parts to meet the size standard.

Milling

Milling is an efficient machining method in which the milling cutter is used as a tool to process the surface of an object. Milling is generally carried out on a milling machine or boring machine, suitable for machining planes, grooves, various forming surfaces (such as splines, gears and threads) and special shape surfaces of the die.

Drilling

Use the drill to process the hole on the part, the workpiece does not move during the processing, let the tool move, the tool center to the center of the hole, and make the tool turn. It can drill through holes, blind holes, replace special tools, and can be expanded, countersunk, reamed or tapped.

Boring
Boring is a cutting process that cuts the machined surface of the workpiece through the relative movement between the boring tool on the equipment and the workpiece, so that a layer of metal is cut off from the machined surface, and the machined surface can obtain certain machining accuracy and surface roughness. Compared with other hole machining processes, boring is not limited by the size of the tool; Moreover, boring has a strong error correction ability, which can correct the error of the original coarse hole axis through multiple tool passes, and can maintain a high position accuracy between the bored hole and the positioning datum, which makes boring an ideal choice for manufacturing some high-precision parts. The speed of boring is much faster than that of milling, which makes it possible to process large quantities of parts.

Grinding
Grinding is a processing method to remove excess materials with less processing amount and high precision. It is widely used in the machinery manufacturing industry. Grinding is used to process the internal and external cylinders, conical and flat surfaces of various workpieces, as well as special and complex forming surfaces such as threads, gears and splines, and can also process materials with high hardness, such as hardened steel, cemented carbide, etc. It can also process brittle materials, such as glass and granite.

══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════Why use XAT CNC machining and precision machining?

XAT has two machining workshop with a total size of more than 16,000 square feet and more than 20 operators with more than 10 years of experience. This workshop has a total of 20 CNC lathes and milling machines, 15 drilling machines and 16 machining centers.
